Fantasy book lovers to the front, Brisbane is set to score a new festival inspired by the ACOTAR series from #1 New York Times bestselling author Sarah J Maas.
Celestial Festival, taking place from February 23 – 26, 2024 is the first of its kind in Queensland, bringing the magic of literary worlds to a historic setting in the city.
Stand-out evenings across the weekend include the Starfall Fan Ball, held inside the striking Customs House. Fantasy enthusiasts are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book characters and come along for a night of bookish fun, food, wine, dancing, and more.
"The first Starfall Fan Ball sold out in less than a minute, so a second ball has been announced so that those who originally missed out on tickets can attend."
Celestial Festival promises a weekend dedicated to all things Sarah J Maas, where fans can come and meet fellow book lovers, as well as enjoy additional events such as archery, paint-and-sip, yoga, and high tea.
