Celestial Events : Weapons and Attire Guidelines

Important Information for Celestial Event Attendees.

To ensure everyone has a fun and safe experience, we’ve outlined the key guidelines below.

"Safety for all guests is our number one priority."

Please take a moment to review these details, and feel free to reach out via email if you need any clarification. We want everyone to have an unforgettable night!

CELESTIAL BALL:

The Celestial Ball is a gala-style event, which means ballgowns and lounge suits are the standard dress code—unless you’re choosing to cosplay. As an 18+ event with alcohol and a nightclub section for some of our guests, your safety is our top priority.

  • No weapons: This includes foam, strapped-on, clipped-in, or anything that can be swung. This also extends to arrows, whips, airsoft weapons, gel blasters, etc.

  • No sharp props: No items with sharp tips, barbed wire, or dangerous armor.

  • No large costume props: Please avoid props made from metal, glass, or wood.

  • No dragging dresses: Dresses with trains or long ribbons that drag on the floor must be pinned up before entry is permitted. Pins will be provided at the venue as entry will not be permitted until pinned off the floor.

  • No large wings or attachments: Any wings or props that extend more than 50cm from the body will not be allowed.

  • Hoop dresses: Hoop skirts should have no more than 2 bars, which also keeps them within the 50cm off the body rule.

  • Face masks/coverings: These should be easy to remove if requested by staff.

CELESTIAL PRE AND POST BALL EVENTS:

For all other standalone Celestial events, we ask that you wear smart casual attire.

  • Please avoid cut-off or shredded clothing, thongs, or any attire that doesn’t meet the smart casual dress standard at the venues.

nb: Celestial Events, and the volunteers at any given event do reserve the right to deny entry to anyone wearing items that could pose a risk to other attendees if they do not follow these guidelines, or ask you to remove specific items.

If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to email us at hello@celestialevents.com.au.
