Letter from the Editor: 

My Dearest Celestials, (get your cuppa ready!)

What a year it has been! As I sit down to reflect, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and love for this incredible community we’ve built together. It’s been such a whirlwind of magic, and honestly, I feel like I need to take a little break, curl up with a good book, and soak it all in.

​

Looking back on everything we’ve achieved, it feels like a dream. Over 23 events this year—CC3’s midnight launch, Dragon Rider gatherings, subscription clubs, reading retreats, breathtaking balls, swords and archery, high teas—the list goes on. We reached nearly 9,000 in our group, and we welcomed nearly 2,000 new faces at events. Each event one was filled with laughter, connection, and that special magic only Celestial can bring. And together, we managed to donate over $2,000 in our very first year of business and planted over 100 new trees —a testament to the kindness and generosity of this community.

 

But what truly stands out to me isn’t the events or the milestones; it’s all of you. When I started Celestial Events, I was just a girl who loved fantasy and dreamed of going to a ball. What I’ve learned over this past year is that this group is about so much more than attending events.

Life can be so challenging sometimes—whether it’s navigating the struggles of adulthood, facing illness, dealing with social media trolls (ugh, something I’ve had to learn to live with), or even just making it through the day. But this community has become such a beautiful light in all of that. What started as a shared love of fantasy, a ball, or a book recommendation has blossomed into a family—a safe, loving space where we can all be unapologetically ourselves, quirks and all. Here, no one is ever alone. Every voice matters, every story is valued, and there’s always someone ready to lift you up with kindness, encouragement, and love, no matter what (ok maybe not if you are team Tamlin (kidding!).

The messages we share, the conversations between one another, and the incredible support you show me and each other have proven that this is so much more than just a community—it feels like home. It’s a place where we lift each other up, celebrate the little joys, and escape into worlds that remind us just how magical life can be (seriously, why can’t bat boys and valkyries be real?!).

Whether you’ve been to every event or just joined the group, you matter. You are seen, you are valued, and you are part of something truly special.
